hey everyone,
i am 20, and for about 6 months now i have been noticing that i am losing my hair in the shower. I look and sure enough i have a receding hairline at the temples. I am probably a 2-3 on the norwood scale. No hole at the back. I was curious what i should expect using propecia. I am scared about this shedding thing, but before i started taking it i was already losing 20-25 hairs in my hands during shampooing and 25-50 during toweling. They are mostly long thick hairs coming out from all over my head in the past and now. I am a little worried that i could be in a situation where i lose my hair extremely rapidly which would not be good for my age. Is it normal to lose that many hairs, and will propecia stop this loss? Could the loss be stress related because i feel stress from the hair loss? I have only been on propecia for about a week now. I would be more worried about shedding, but hey i feel like i was shedding already. I havent been losing anymore hair than i already was. Anyone with this experience or a similar one please respond, or if you can help. Thanks.
