Just some info I got from Salusmaster, a pretty good site about hairloss. They say that the resting phase of a hair follicle is about three months, and the hair should grow at about half an in per month after that. So if the hair is going to grow back, it may be 4-5 months before you notice it, depending on when it went into the resting phase.
