My shedding phase started about 4 months into treatment, and lasted about 3 months!!!! I was extremely depressed and angry over this but decided that I had already gone this far so I might as well stick it out. Well, I was very pleased to notice that slowlymy hair was coming back and thicker than ever!!! Its been 10 months now and well on my way to growing back everything I've lost!! I realy believe the key is to just stick with it. Unfortunately when many people experience the shedding phase they freak out and stop taking propecia, and assume it made matters worse. What they didnt understand though, was that they were just beginning to respond the the drug and if they would have just waited a few more months they surely would have seen good results. So hang in there, you'll be glad you did!!!
